The task: Inside Information was appointed to provide a client–branded media information service promoting Land Rover’s accessories to consumers and replacement parts to the motor trade.
The aim: To increase awareness of Land Rover products beyond the vehicles themselves and to create sales leads for network dealers.
The delivery: In conjunction with company people, Inside Information researched and prepared news and feature material for selected consumer and trade media.
The outcome: News releases and several special media promotions generated extensive coverage in relevant publications, ranging from 4x4 specialist magazines to motor trade journals.
The added value: consumer publications often include a direct telephone number for inquiries, while most trade publications offer a reader reply service for additional information on products and sources.
Inside Information also operated a response service to inquirers, supplying additional information and passing on details of the inquiries to the nearest local dealer.
The result: a regular flow of two way information between prospective customers and the source of supply, and new relationships with customers.
